Mission Statement;
Purpose of the District:
Wise use and treatment of the land in the interest of both urban
and rural people remains our goal. The realization of such a goal comes about through assistance offered by the district to
individuals or groups in the development, use and conservation of all natural resources and their products. These include
soil and water, farm woodlands, watershed protection and development, wildlife, recreational facilities, and assistance on
non-agricultural land.
The district considers multiple uses of each natural resource. Planning and proper management of such uses means giving careful
consideration so that maximum benefit as well as wise use and treatment shall be utilized.
